The Secrets of Controlled Gambling
Over time, an expert shooter develops what’s known as a signature roll. The simplest way to establish this is to watch what the tosser is betting on. He will probably lay a pass line wager and then also buy some numbers, like maybe the four and ten. He has to place a pass line bet to throw, but the four and ten buy wager is somewhat unusual, so he may have a signature. It would be best if you quickly followed his lead and wager the same way they does.
Obviously though, he/she will roll a 7 sooner or later and you can’t leave all of your cash up forever, so you need to have an excellent pull back system. The simplest one to employ is to begin at your highest bet, and buy the exact same 2 numbers the shooter does. Then, just pull down the numbers by 1 unit after each win until you are at the table minimum.
Now let us say the four hits and you capture one hundred and sixteen dollars. Keep the Fifty Eight Dollars (your starting wager) on the 10 and regress the four to $38, and ask if you can buy it for $38 and just pay $1 juice (5 per cent of thirty eight dollars is a buck ninety). If the four is rolled once more, you win seventy six dollars. Leave it at thirty eight dollars – you can’t pay less than a $1 vig on a purchase bet and if they keep on letting you buy the four (and 10) for $38 and just pay $1, then keep on playing.
Soon, if the 10 starts appearing you’ll have both the 4 and ten regressed down to thirty eight dollars. Leave both wagers on the table except of course if the player backs their bets down, or something unusual happens to ruin the shooter’s alertness. By backing off your buy wagers you will always have something on the table during a hot roll, and following the first success, it is plain profit
If you are an accomplished shooter yourself, bring your significant other or friend with you, and the casino will allow him or her to manage your wagers while you’re focusing attention on throwing.
